My portfolio showcases my design skills and finished work, but here are 5 invisibles that get baked in to everything I do.
1.
I’ve only worked at 3 places in the last 19 years. I'm extremely loyal and value deep relationships over ladder-climbing or job-hopping for personal gain.
2.
If I say I’ll do something, it will get done. Period. There’s nothing I care about more than my reputation for rolling up my sleeves and getting things done for others.
3.
I’m OBSESSED with ideas—from brainstorming how to creatively solve problems to implementing plans that get ideas off the ground, it's easily my favorite part of the creative process. I love celebrating winning ideas that make an impact, but also learning from ideas that just don’t work.
4.
I’m a Type 6 Enneagram (the loyalist). Having backup plans can seem like extra work to most people, but they give me peace of mind for WHEN things go wrong.
5.
I’m a creative, but I also love data. Measuring the success of marketing and creative can be difficult sometimes, but when the data is there, I want to dive in and make sense of it.
These are the things that drive me behind the scenes—they fuel my creative process and show up in every project, even if they don't make it into the portfolio thumbnails.
